I went with my dad on his courier route today, so earlier I wore a thrifted Express black button-down with purple ribbon bows replacing cufflinks, thrifted Lee Riders high-waisted shorts, Merona tights, and sneakers for running up flights of stairs. My mother picked up the hat for me at the OC Fair yesterday, and the necklace I made myself!
Cufflink detail- and MAN they were hard to tie, even with my long thin fingers-
Then before lunch, because it was heating up and so I wouldn't mess up my nice shirt, I changed into this, a top combo I've worn before-
Wow, you look fabulous! I especially love the second look, although those tiny purple bows are brilliant! Goths don't rock the shorts often enough... I love how you've styled them.

Thank you! I think we live in the same general area... so you know how hot it gets here. Shorts, and to a lesser extent knee length skirts, are important- and necessary!
